We offer personalized care for practice members of all ages, from newborns through seniors. Our team has advanced training in pediatric and prenatal care, and we love helping expecting moms and little ones feel and function their best with chiropractic care and massage techniques tailored to their unique needs.

Along with chiropractic and massage for the whole family, we offer athletic therapy to help augment your healing process and get you back in the game as quickly as possible.

Custom orthotics are another way we help keep you functioning and moving your best.

Get to Know Our Caring Team

A proud father of four and former elite athlete, Dr. Darrin understands firsthand the stressors that affect your body's ability to heal itself as it was designed to. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota, and then returned to his hometown of Winnipeg and opened our practice with his wife, registered massage therapist Tempest Thorvaldson.

Dr. Nick Simoes has been part of our n8 Chiropractic & Massage Therapy team since we opened our doors in 2016. Like Dr. Darrin, he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University. Along with caring for our practice members, he is a public speaker and a trainer for the Manitoba Tourism Education Council.

Dr. Kim Barton has been a chiropractic patient since childhood and is passionate about caring for families. A Northwestern Health Sciences University graduate, she has advanced training in the Torque Release Technique, a low-force, gentle adjusting method.

Our massage therapy team comprises RMTs Tempest Thorvaldson, Kimberly Nyberg and current student Liz Jones. They have decades of experience and offer various massage techniques, including pregnancy and infant massage. Mylène Gagné, our Certified Athletic Therapist, rounds out our team of caring professionals.

Our chiropractors provide chiropractic care only, using various traditional and low-force adjusting techniques, including Network Spinal Analysis. Our registered massage therapists offer soft tissue work, a powerful complement to chiropractic care. With this specialized approach, you get a comprehensive wellness approach tailored to each family member, from newborns to seniors.

I was also very happy that he took X-Ray's of my spine, I never would have known that l had a minor scoliosis curve in my spine (functional scoliosis), which can be helped with chiropractic.
